Roofing Services Covered by Insurance

Dealing with insurance claims can be a daunting task, especially when it comes to roofing. At Perennial Roofing, we are here to simplify the process and help you navigate the complexities of roofing insurance claims. Our experienced team will assist you in documenting the damage, understanding your coverage, and working directly with your insurance provider to ensure a fair and efficient claims process.

How it works

Whether this is the first time, or the fifth time getting your roof replaced, we are here to make sure you are fully informed and have peace of mind on the process. A basic rundown of the process consists of the following:

  • Have Perennial Roofing do an in depth property inspection after a storm

After a hail or windstorm, your roof might have taken a hit and need replacement. That’s where Perennial Roofing comes in. We carefully check for any visible damage and talk you through what we find. But we don’t stop at your roof – we also note any damage to your property that could qualify you for compensation.

If we confirm the damage, we help you get the compensation you’re entitled to. Our goal is to get your property back on track and guide you through the process to make sure you’re treated fairly. At Perennial Roofing, we’re here to protect your property and make things right every step of the way.

  • Make a claim to your insurance company

What may be a seemingly daunting task, is typically only a 10 minute phone call. You will provide them with basic information about your home, along with the date you were affected by the storm. They will typically reach back out to you within a few business days and inform you of the time and date your insurance adjuster will come do their inspection.

  • Adjuster Meeting

One of our primary responsibilities in this process is to ensure your proper coverage. When the adjuster conducts their assessment, having a representative from Perennial Roofing, an experienced roofing professional, present is crucial. This practice is an industry standard that ensures effective communication between your trusted contractor and the adjuster, preventing any oversights or missed details.

After the inspection concludes, the gathered evidence will be conveyed to your insurance company. You can expect to receive their decision within approximately a week.

  • Approved scope of coverage review

After your insurance approves the replacement of your roof, they will send you a detailed coverage plan for your property. Our responsibility is to thoroughly review this plan, distinguish between roof-related and non-roof-related items, and then break down the covered extent.

If any details were missed, we refer back to our initial documentation and create a list of unreported items to ensure nothing is overlooked. Once this clarification is complete, we guide you through the construction process and schedule the necessary work.

  • Schedule a build date

The duration of most projects typically falls within the 1-2 day range, dependent on your home’s size. We coordinate closely with you to establish a convenient schedule for the work to be carried out.Additionally, an important aspect to highlight is our payment approach. To ensure your confidence in our commitment, we refrain from requesting any upfront payments before the construction begins. All financial transactions are postponed until the actual day of the build, providing you with a worry-free experience.

  • Enjoy your fulfilled opportunity

After all is said and done, we submit proof of completion to your insurance company so they have documentation of your completed project. You can now rest easy knowing that you are damage free, and have a roof that will withstand the elements for decades to come.
